Becoming a yoga instructor is a great way to practice yoga and at the same time instructing new students and those who continue to learn. One more thing that should be remembered should you continue to show interest in becoming a yoga instructor is the fact that essentially you are working for yourself and starting a business. Since this is the case it should be understood that there will be no dental plan or retire fund waiting for you. You will have to set up any of these safety nets yourself once you embark on this career.

Should you decide to work for a studio and not become a business then you will get benefits, and can earn approximately an hour, according to a recent Los Angeles Times article. The article goes on to say that instructors who teach in a private studio could earnĀ  – a class plus an additional – per student beyond a minimum of ten students. If you get a job working in a corporate setting you can earn as much as &75 an hour.

Whether you decide to work for yourself or look for an employer within the yoga instucting business you should know that it is possible to have a good career as well as to inspire others to practise yoga. It can be a great career choice for those who have found that yoga has become not just something that has become part of their lives, but has become an important part of their lifestyle.
