If we talk about body conditioning, is it best to do yoga or pilates? This is not actually a debate for fitness enthusiasts. Holistic wellness is what these 2 exercises promotes. So, is there really a difference?
Yoga, for new practitioners, is an exercise which focuses on physical wellness. But people must see the deeper meaning of yoga. Yoga is a lifestyle and not just an ordinary body conditioning. The significance of stretching pose is the similarity of these 2 exercises. You strengthen your core with Pilates and with Yoga. Practicing yoga or pilates regularly will surely transform your body posture for the best. But since these exercises are extreme as well, there is also risk of injury. You cannot just jump into doing yoga without proper instruction from a coach.
So, which form of exercise is best in conditioning your body? If we think the answer is just Pilates or just Yoga, then we should think outside the box.
