Since gym classes have more members compared to studio classes, some of their members are already on the pro level and of course, you cannot cope up with their movements. Doing wrong and faulty moves can cause injury in the long run with this kind of situation. Instead of relieving your stress, you will be more stresses in pushing yourself to catch up with your peers.
If you have a physical injury or disability, your teacher from your studio yoga class can amend or alter some of the movements. That is not potential during a gym class that sometimes has thirty to forty students. Gym yoga class environment is not encouraging] changes.
